CAREER DEVELOPMENT
In 1931, a young specialist worked at the Central Clinical Hospital of one of the capital aircraft factories. After a couple of months, he moved to the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute. Then, as a senior engineer at TsAGI, he also took up research on the principles of operation of jet engines in the organization of GIRD, established jointly with the inventor Zandler and with the assistance of Osoaviakhim, where the first Soviet ballistic liquid-fuel missiles were tested under his command.
